Our CANINE sponsors are very special people! The ongoing contributions provide food, shelter, vetrenary costs, and loving care for the dogs we foster day after day, month after month, year after year.
Sponsorships are available at levels to suit every budget, from $10 to $100 a month. One-hundred percent of your sponsorship donation goes directly to the care of our dogs.
Sponsorships make great gifts! Sponsors receive:
* a personalized certificate framed with a photo of your sponsored dog
* opportunity to meet and greet your sponsored dog at our adoption sites weekly (Saturdays from 10-1 PM at PetSupermarket in Inverness)

Our pets are fostered in our homes to reduce their stress and to enable us to better evaluate them for the kind of home situation they need. We have no building to pay for, so we can keep the cost minimized. Please, understand that your adoption donations make it possible for them to receive expensive veterinary care. Baby,(brown dog on the left) the Border Terrier mix ? is a real sweetheart, looking for someone retired, like her, kind hearted, to keep company and share some love n' devotion. She is good with other small dogs and cats, very well house broken, 14lbs in weight, it would take a dedicated dog lover for her last years! Her mother went into Hospice.

Like a dog, I enjoy a walk in the yard with you but then prefer the safety of your home. I am so easy to fall in love with, because I am a lazy boy who stays out of trouble, enjoys your company. It has been scientifically proven that the 'vibrations' of purring cats in the same room with humans, increases the density of your bones to later prevent or reduce fractures and help to heal them more quickly!!!"
This is the most adorable little black on white spotted, 7 yo, long haired 6# Chihuahua. She is such a happy girl after she stops shaking and knows you just want to hug and love on her. What a cuddler. Enjoys her tummy rubbed and her back scratched. She is good with other small dogs and cats, but NO children. She is looking for an adult only home, so she can be their 'child'. She has been in an outside kennel so she needs someone to take her out to potty frequently until she learns to hold it. She comes with panties and we will have her spayed after she is adopted in order to receive your personnal care while recovering. We are always in need of foster parents for 1 or more weeks at a time. If you are able to foster from time to time, please, contact Donna at 527.9050.

She is crate trained, leash trained, playful, good with cats and other small dogs, enjoys being held, loving but shy at first because she has not been well socialized, NO children. She is avaiable because her parents are losing their home and must reduce their pet numbers. He will be at the best friends Festival in the Inverness Agriculture Building across from the Inverness airport, 9-2 PM, February 4th adoption next.
Kalhua just became available to enjoy her new life with you after living the life of a breeder's dog. She is a little 7 yo sweetheart, with plenty of time to be your best friend, loves everyone, likes to play, cuddle, is housebroken and learning how to walk on the leash.
