Hi Donna, We actually did get Mulligan through you in the beginning of Dec.after seeing a picture of him in the Homosassa Beacon. At the time he was named Murphy. When we adopted him I gave him the name Mulligan.I,am an avid golfer and in golf a mulligan means a second chance. Thus, the name Mulligan. You were going away and we got him from that nice lady who fosters dogs in Inverness..I don,t remember her name but my wife does.Anyway I,am sending you some pictures of Mulligan that I sent you before. We just wanted to let you know that he has been a wonderful addition to our lives, we are working with him on some issues with him being a little high strung at times. But he is only 13 months old and we know we can get him a little more calm.Anyway, thanks again for giving us the opportunity to get such and wonderful pet.

Scott and Sharon-Sugarmill Woods.    You have our permission to print Mulligans picture and story.
.......Finally, Bruce just helped me so I can send the one picture I have of Molly, my newly adopted shih tzu - she is 7 yrs. old. A family had her that couldn't take care of her anymore.  Her and I have really bonded and she is trained and just a perfect fit for me.  To old to train a puppy - although I love them. - Phyllis
We proudly present our success stories of rehomed dogs thriving with their new families!  Love and Hugs and Kisses!
Buddy the Basenji has been a part of my familiy for over two years now. He was found wondering Citrus County and no one claimed him. He was in real bad shape with mange, parasites, and could count all his ribs.  John and I fell for him!   Actually, Hershey the lab mix and Candi the hound mix were rescued as well. We all are one happy family. debbie &  john PS: here is another addition to the family-Uzie the tri-colored Basenji!
While working as a pet rescuer in 2004, I removed a Standard Poodle, Precious, from Marion County A.S. She was estimated to be about 1 year old. Her cooperative attitude impressed me. After learning she was in need of another home, in 2006, I rescued her again. That time my husband and I adopted her ourselves. She has an excellent temperament and personality, is very smart, and exceptionally devoted. There are so many great dogs in need of good, permanent homes. They are so loving, grateful, and return your love and attention ten fold. I like the slogan I've heard asking people to " Adopt one until there are none".
"I just wanted to thank you for Molly -  we are the PERFECT match and everything I could want in a dog.  I hope if the article does appear in the paper, whomever gave her away will know she has a good home.
We have really bonded, sleeps with me, is my shadow and my best buddy.  She is the "star" everyone is coming to see her. She loves everyone and got along well with son's cats even though it took a bit of time to get acquainted. She gets me out to exercise too.
I keep close track of her kidney problem and she seems to be doing very well.  She is  getting her urinary food from Dunellon Animal Hospital and that's where I plan on taking her.  I have read up on shih tzu and now know more about caring for her.  She is good about letting me clean her eyes, nose  and wiping off her chin. She loves a bath and very well trained. I have her microchip now transferred to me. Please let her foster parents, Millie and Sherry how kind they are and Molly and I both fill a need for each other.  Thanks Again" - in Lecanto

OUR SUCCESS STORIES AND FOREVER HOMES!

Donna Scott & Millie:
We just wanted to send you a note and tell you how much we appreciate and love Smooch.  She is the toy poodle we adopted from you in Inverness about 2-3 weeks ago.  She just fits our family perfect!  She is very happy!  Of course, as our friends say, she is now living in doggie heaven.
It only took her 2 days to train us.
Thank you so much for her.  We will cherish the gift of her!

WE ARE SO GONNA BE PALS FOR LIFE!

AMBER AND MIKEY WERE INSTANTLY FRIENDS AND THEY ARE SOOOO HAPPY TOGETHER!
